Creating Hybrid Systems

Hydroponics has metformin weight loss and pregnancy been around in at least a primitive form since ancient times. Modern incarnations include a wide variety of shapes, forms, and designs to fit most situations. For example plants that have large root systems and high moisture requirements could do well in a deep water culture system like I have. Something, like micro greens, with smaller root systems would be better suited for a higher density setup such as a NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) system.

In the search for ever higher yields many growers are turning to hybrid systems to bridge the gaps between systems. The super cropper being a good example of semi-aeroponic NFT system built for high density growing. For my next grow I will be modifying my current top feed DWC with an ultrasonic fogger in the hope of eliminating the moisture dead spots I have experienced. Fogger systems or fogponics is an extension of aeroponics and supposedly leads to greater lateral root growth.

The modification will be pretty straight forward. I only run about 5-8 gallons of solution in a 27 gallon tub so it is shallow enough just to drop it in and make sure the disc is pointing
