New Projects on the horizon
Hello everyone,
I know I have been M.I.A for the summer but personal circumstances took up most of my time this summer. Good news is I landed a job at a hospital while I continue on to my Bachelors. As for the outdoor garden this year, The guerilla project was a bust due to drought and weeds but My container garden provided me with lots of cherry tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, and herbs all summer long. Sadly I must say Red sent me 2 miracle fruit plants which met there maker for unknown reasons
For my next project I am going to do a series of grow offs under led But with a twist. Vegetative nutrients will be Coco aquaponics ( A first for me), The bloom portion of the test will be both quantity and quality test on both mineral and organic based nutrients. The first test will be between Fox Farm water soluble and General hydroponics Duo line.
The test will be on three plants per side. For the first round I decided on giant zinnias for the flower category. Black cherry tomatoes as the bench mark category. Finally, soybeans for the wildcard category for this round. Grow offs will be tournaments style and single elimination.
Looking forward to sharing my indoor season with everyone on UHGU and I promise to be a bit more active. –Chris-
