I’ ve been metformin hcl 1000 mg neglecting the site I know, but not for lack of growing plants. I keep wanting to sit down and take all the pictures from everything we have done over the past 6 months and catch the site up. Instead I’m just going to dump last weeks pictures of our outdoor bato bucket system in all its glory and make a promise to do better going forward. Perhaps (not likely) if I get time I’ll go back and fill in the gap. We have some new growers in the Houston area. A decent sized meetup group and quite a decent Facebook group going. Hopefully some of you guys will join me and start contributing to the site so that we can create...
iSunlight 100W VS 90W UFO

I’ ve been metformin er 500mg weight loss very excited about full spectrum LED lighting for a long while. I know, I know the theory behind R:B is that by using more targeted spectra we can drive photosynthesis more efficiently in terms of micro-mole per watt, but I have also grown with LED lighting for quite a while now and have noticed that many varieties of plant experience certain morphological issues when grown using only red and blue, other plants grow to perfection. I’d seen the spectrum chart for some of the “white” diodes and notice that they where still mostly blue. I got to thinking that I’d like to try growing with an all white LED....
Closet Bhuts
posted by ProZachJ
I’ve got to admit. I’ve been growing bhuts in my closet for a while now. While I was away in California they suffered a bit of nutrient distress, but after a nice pruning, nutrient change, and a foliar feed, I’ve been able to nurse the plants back into good shape. Over the...
Grow-room Tetris
posted by ProZachJ
In an attempt to boost my basil production, I decided to reorganize my grow room. This way I can fit another 36 site system and double my production. The problem was I needed to move my tent over about four feet and I am currently growing a basil crop in it that I am not ready to part with. So...
Basil Cropping
posted by ProZachJ
One of the things that we have started doing locally is selling our basil to a local bar. Wanted to drop you guys a few pictures of what a 4×4 tent full of 36 basil plants looks like a few days after harvesting. I have found that there is so much demand for basil locally that I am looking...
Roses anyone?
posted by ProZachJ
I know ornamental plants aren’t really in the mission statement of UHGU, but I have a closet that really isn’t usable space for anything but young plants or small vegatables. So I’ve been keeping a little side project growing this Rose bush under HydroGrow’s 126W...
Strawberries starting to boost
posted by ProZachJ
Well It seems that I waited a bit too long to plant my strawberries this time because out of the 15 that I planted only seven rooted, but I just figure that means those are the strongest. I’ll just use runners to propagate them to fill my entire Super Cropper 15. Since I changed the plants over from Scotts Excel 15-5-15 Cal Mag to the HydroponiX samples that I received I have noticed a good uptick in growth. The plants have begun sending out runners and this morning I noticed the first flower is open. One piece of advice I would give to all new strawberry growers: Keep the nutrient light, especially in Veg. I have been running 1.15 EC...
LED Strawberries: Se...

After last years moderate success with strawberries under LED I’ve decided to stick with the principles that I’ve been stressing to all UHGU members, “Pick a crop and grow it over and over until you are an expert”. I’ve received 25 Albion strawberry runners. I...
Glow Panel Grow Off ends…
posted by ProZachJ
Between growing, trying to promote Super Croppers, and spending a large amount of time wakeboarding I neglected to post my Glow Panel Grow Off update videos. So I am going post the last two update that I did. I decided that I wanted a bit more production from these plants than small panels could provide so I upped the wattage by bringing in 4 UFOs. In the last video I discuss the issues that I have been having with getting the habeneros to fruit. I’ve decided to follow Mr. Iccus’ advice from his post “Inducing fruiting in problem peppers in the urban garden” Today I did a complete nutrient change and reset the...
Lettuce Sprouts

Learning is what this experiment is all about. First thing I’ve learned: The importance of a dibble hole. You see the first four seeds that i germinated didn’t fare so well. I pushed them into the little piece of Sure to Grow Hail and then top watered twice per day. 2/4 sprouted...

Check out day 14 pictures and video of my glow panel grow off. Its 50W Penetrator (no you can’t buy this panel its a prototype) VS Glow Panel 45. I was very surprised to see these little buds so early. On day 10 I changed the nutrient, flushed the system and set the new solution to a...

So I took this video on day 7 and the pics on day 8. It also turns out, now that the plants are large enough for me to identify that the ones I was calling jalapeno are actually habenero and vice versa …oh well. Penetrator...

Here we go! Our LED Panel grow off has begun. Two Hydro Grow LED 50W Penetrators VS Two Sunshine Systems Glow Panel 45s. Each panel is going to be growing one pepper plant. Each side of the tent has one Jalapeno (Jalapeno Gigante) and one Habenero (Caribbean Red). I have divided the tent with...
